Hengrave Hall Wedding | Livvy & Ash
I first spoke with Livvy & Ash shortly after they’d booked their Hengrave Hall Wedding and were in the early stages of planning. They contacted me after a recommendation from another supplier who knew I’d be a good fit for their plans. From an early stage, Hengrave Hall was their must-have venue and they knew they wanted a Friday, rather than Saturday wedding.
Livvy wore a gorgeous La Sposa dress in textured mikado with a bardot neckline which suited her perfectly. When choosing her dream dress, Liv made the conscious choice to support Lotte Rose bridal in Bedford, a new boutique founded by her friend and a former workmate. On the day, she got ready with help from the brilliant Emma Victoria Bridal. Ash looked handsome-as-you-like in a traditional morning suit with a powder blue double breasted waistcoat, perfectly complemented by his pink Hermes tie.
One of the wonderful things about Hengrave is the neighbouring chapel, just a short walk from the Hall. Many guests commented on the wonderful flowers (courtesy of Clare Jones Floral Design), which were transferred to the Long Gallery for the wedding breakfast later in the afternoon.
The evening party went with a swing as the couple had arranged for a surprise appearance of the New York Brass Band, fresh from an appearance at Glastonbury and en-route to Suffolk’s Latitude festival the next day! As Liv & Ash began their first dance to McFly’s ‘It’s All About You’, the band appeared through a side door and serenaded them on the dance-floor. Just perfect!
Here’s a selection of photos from the day and if you’re planning your own Hengrave Hall wedding, please do drop me a line. For now, I’ll leave you with Tom Fletcher’s unforgettable lyrics!
